Diabetes Books Policies

These policies apply to books and resources purchased directly from Diabetes Books.

 

If you purchase one of our products through an online store or from a bookstore, please contact them directly for their refund policies and other policies.

 

Dr. Shomali is a co-author of three of the books on this website. We are honored to have him as a co-author and he is a special guest on this website. Diabetes Books is not owned or operated by Dr. Shomali. He has no legal obligation to any of the policies or practices of DiabetesBooks.ca and our book distributors.

Diabetes Books Shipping Policy

We only ship to Canada and prices are based on Canadian dollars and are noted on our order form. There are additional shipping costs for fly-in or northern remote communities.
 

  • Order Processing Time: Our usual time from receiving your order to shipping is about 3-5 business days.

  • Order shipping Time: Your product will be shipped by standard ground. The usual shipping time is 5-10 business days. It can take longer for remote or fly-in-only locations.

  • Shipments to Canada are shipped by Canada Post by our distributor, LOGIN (Winnipeg, MB) or directly through Diabetes Books based in West Kelowna, BC. Occasionally, larger shipments will be shipped directly from our publisher’s Toronto warehouse.

  • Need a rush shipment? Please contact us directly. We will contact other carriers and search out alternatives with faster shipping rates.

  • Larger orders may be shipped by truck.

We accept VISA and MasterCard. All our credit card orders are processed directly through PayPal and secured through PayPal Security.

 

We also accept cheques, e-transfers to karen@diabetesbooks.ca or money orders. Purchase Orders from established customers are also accepted.  Send all cheques to:

Diabetes Books Return & Refund Policy – Money-Back Guarantee!

Thank you for purchasing our diabetes resources at Diabetes Books. Over the past twenty-five years, our company’s high quality books and resources and personal customer service have become well-known. If you have a concern about any of our products, please contact us and you can speak to a real person! We offer a full money-back guarantee for products purchased from Diabetes Books by phone, or ordered by email or mail using the Diabetes Books Order Form.
 

  • To initiate a refund, please contact karen@diabetesbooks.ca

  • In order to be eligible for a refund, you have to return the product within 30 calendar days of your purchase. The buyer pays the shipping. The product must be in the same condition that you received it.

  • After we receive your item, we will process a full cash refund. This includes your purchase price that included shipping. The money will be refunded to the original payment method you used to purchase the book or resource. For credit card payments it may take 5 to 10 business days for a refund to show up on your credit card statement.

  • You will not be charged any refund processing fees or restocking fees.
